(Portland, Ore.)– Cancer Care Resources, an independent community organization with statewide outreach, has appointed its 2008 board of directors. The board will oversee the current operating budget of more than $670,000, a growing staff, and expanding patient and family services and programs. The board will also provide strategic direction and oversight for the development of fund-raising initiatives and partnerships, as well as a first-ever advocacy summit event scheduled for July.
