
Cancer Care Resources offers two support groups in connection with community organizations.
Young Adult Support Group - This support group is sponsored by CCR and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Oregon and SW Washington. It is open to individuals between the ages of 21-40 who had been diagnosed with a childhood cancer and are now in this age range or individuals that have been diagnosed during those ages. The group meets the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of every month from 6:00pm-7:30pm at Cancer Care Resources (439 N. Broadway). Please call for more information 503-528-5236.
Making Today Count: A support group for women with advanced and metastatic cancers - This group is offered jointly by Cancer Care Resources and Providence Cancer Center. The group meets weekly on Wednesdays from 11:00-12:30pm at Providence St. Vincent's, Cancer Center, 1st floor (East Pavilion). Please contact one of the faciliators prior to attending the meeting.
